This tour includes the major heritage sites of India (Delhi, Jaipur and
Agra) and Nepal (Kathmandu valley including Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Patan
city) including, Nagarkot, a hill station at Kathmandu valley rim for
sunrise tour. The main attractions of Golden Triangle are: experience of the
bustling cities of India yet amazing Landmark Tajmahal will leave you the
most impressive memory. The forts and Palaces are the most attractive in
India. The triangle is great to experience Indian diversities. Other
attractions in Nepal are old king palaces, monuments, temples, stupas,
monasteries & the surrounding settlements, It offers the beautiful glimpses
of Swoyambhunath, one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaitya.
Pashupatinath, one of the most sacred Hindu Pilgrimage. Boudhanath, one of
the biggest stupa in the world.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the Hotel
Day 02: Whole day tour of Delhi including Raj Ghat - the cremation site of
Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid , Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Visit Qutub Minar
built in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch),
Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s
House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught
Place shopping centre. Overnight Delhi
Day 03: Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon
free.
Day 04: Morning visit Amber Fort the ancient capital of the State. Visit the
Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour
of Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan which was given a colour coat of pink a
century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained
this colour.Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas
Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential &
business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 05: Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute built by Emperor Akbar
in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Overnight
Agra
Day 06: Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor
Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public
and Private Audience. Overnight Agra
Day 07: Drive to Delhi. Overnight Delhi
Day 08: Transfer to the airport for Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and stay
at hotel.
Day 09: Sightseeing of Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath and Patan city.
Day 10: Sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath Stupa and drive
to Nagarkot. Stay at Nagarkot.
Day 11: Sunrise tour at Nagarkot. Drive to Bhaktapur city and Sightseeing.
Drive to Kathmandu, rest day and free for shopping.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport for international departure.
